day 2, woke up and found ourselves still at hongkong… its quite a tough day 1 as we settled in pretty late… apparently, hongkongers dun sleep… we can see long queues outside restaurants at midnight! dun these ppl need to work tomorrow? and queuing for sushi at midnight?? hmmm…
anyways, there is no chance we can actually sleep late as our ‘alarm clocks’ are always up right on time… around 7am… hence joelle would settle melody while i settle megan, getting them ready for hongkong day 2…
PARK HOTEL
giving park hotel thumbs up for its cleanliness and location… lotsa shops and restaurants around it and most importantly, within walking distance to the metro…
and of course, the girls’ fav, the bathtub!
and all so ready to go…
PARK HOTEL to EAST TSIM SHA TSUI MTR
as i mentioned, within walking distance… and taking another look at hongkong streets… a contrast of old and new buildings…
here we are, the ticks for adult and child…
a very strikingly resemblance to our very own mrt back at home… and here we go… gosh, i dun even know where we are heading, cuz i dun have the energy or time to plan for it… oh ya, shopping at kowloon…
EAST TSIM SHA TSUI MTR to KOWLOON MTR
and the trick is, dun take the transit solution, just alight at Austin Station and walk to Kowloon…
walking on a very very long overhead bridge from Austin MTR to a shopping mall ELEMENT, that is just above Kowloon MTR…
and i dun believe we actually spent 4 hours in the ELEMENT shopping mall… and just one shop… the H&M… i dun remember how my BIL and me survived the wait while taking care of megan and melody…
you can’t imagine our relieve when the girls walked out with their shopping bags… and here’s the spoilt…
and thats about the whole day gone… and we went for a hotpot dinner… and to my delight, they got this!

a very hearty dinner and a very tiring day (especially when its shopping, i find it extremely tiring…) and i can’t wait to get back to the bed at the hotel room… no wait, we still have to settle megan and melody once we were back at the hotel room… Aaarrggghh!!!!
