cuz we were tiring ourselves out taking care of megan… after her dreadful fever subsided, she is down with flu… more of coughing to runny nose… and over the past few nites, we had been waking up whenever she coughs… we’re so worry of her choking on her phlegm…
and we were supposed to have a gathering at teresa’s place… and we’re crossing our fingers, hoping she can recover by sat… but she didn’t… so sorry… :P
anyway, besides being sick, megan doesn’t look sick… she is still active as ever… thou her parents were so sleep-deprived…
oh ya, last nite something amazing happened… megan is sleep-talking again… while feeding her midnight feed, megan dozed off without finishing her milk… and while she is sleeping, she suddenly said…
“bear bear…”
“bye bye…” (while waving her hand)
“mmmmm…muck” (while blowing air-kiss with her hand)
she rolled over to joelle, rolled back to me, and then…
“papa… papa…”
i think… that nite i slept smiling the whole nite… :)
and today, i let megan play on her own, while i hide away taking photo of her…
as she grow taller, climbing up the bed is no sweat to her…
after a moment of activeness, she suddenly stopped moving and just stand there… then she turned and gave me this look… the all so familiar dad-i-poo look…
after having her butt cleaned… she is back to her active mode again…
oh, did i mention? megan can get up and stand on her own already… usually it only last a short moment, but if something caught her attention, like rain’s concert or yoyo-tv, she can stand there for a pretty long time… as for walking, she having master the trick yet, but could hastily walk a few steps towards us… the highest record so far is 7 steps…
now… she is switched to the hungry mode… she decided to check if her lunch is ready…
i think she know how to play with her toys nowadays… to her, toys used to be for making sounds by banging them together, now different toys seems to be played differently… for example, this is for cooking and eating…
in fact, she had this box of plastic blocks that she love throwing them all over the floor… and everytime, i got to pick them up, then she went over to throw everything out again… and it goes on and on…
recently, she begin throwing the blocks and picking them back to the box… i think, she is learning things by watching what we did… and she know how to point out at eyes and nose…
and that brings me to realise something… i should stop swearing in front of megan liao… oops… :P
we dropped by the playground while on our way to mil’s place… mgean is so deprived of it for 2 weeks since she had fever last week and cough this week…
that concludes our tiring week…
and to my mum, joelle’s mum, megan’s mum and all mums, happy mother’s day…
