i love this shot joelle took for me... we were at the left bank of the Seine river, overlooking the Notre Dame (Our Lady in french). there were lotsa 'pasa malam' stalls setup alongside the banks of the Seine river, selling mainly books and souvenirs. we bought a Eiffel tower souvenir of 3 euros (which we later found out that the same one sold cheaper elsewhere...), and bought none of the books cuz they were all printed in French...
anyway, i just love the way Notre Dame stand out in the background... the cathedral itself is already a legend, romanticized by Victor Hugo's novel...
